NEW MEXICO HUMAN RIGHTS COALITION EDUCATION FUND
The New Mexico Human Rights Coalition Education Fund is an independent, non-profit organization whose chief purpose is to conduct educational programs and workshops that serve to educate and inform the public on a broad range of human rights issues and activities. The Education Fund promotes policies that support civil rights and social and economic justice, and encourages an understanding and appreciation of the diversity of the state of New Mexico.
The New Mexico Human Rights Coalition Education Fund operates within the framework of the following principles and commitments:
- We are committed to universal human rights and equal opportunities.
- We are committed to the belief that all people should be afforded equal rights and opportunities, regardless of race, color, national origin or ancestry, citizenship status, language, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability or economic status.
- We are committed to educating New Mexico's Youth, through the Leadership Development Training Committee, about the causes and goals of human rights issues and activities, so that they will be prepared to assume leadership roles in their own communities.
