NEW MEXICO HUMAN RIGHTS COALITION EDUCATION
FUND
The New Mexico Human Rights
Coalition Education Fund is an independent, non-profit organization
whose chief purpose is to conduct educational programs and workshops
that serve to educate and inform the public on a broad range of human
rights issues and activities. The Education Fund promotes policies that
support civil rights and social and economic justice, and encourages an
understanding and appreciation of the diversity of the state of New
Mexico.
The New Mexico Human Rights Coalition Education Fund operates within the
framework of the following principles and commitments:
-
We are committed to universal human rights and equal opportunities.
-
We are committed to the belief that all people should be afforded
equal rights and opportunities, regardless of race, color, national
origin or ancestry, citizenship status, language, religion, gender,
gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability or economic
status.
-
We are committed to educating New Mexico’s Youth, through the
Leadership Development Training Committee, about the causes and
goals of human rights issues and activities, so that they will be
prepared to assume leadership roles in their own communities.
