Drug Users Union

A Drug Users Union is an organized group created for the purpose of improving access to services, legislation, and conditions specifically for people who use substances. Drug Users Unions provide a space for people who use drugs to come together and discuss issues, take action, and make change within their community.

What to Expect

NMHRC’s Drug Users Union (DUU) is a once a month meeting that is lead by and for PWUD that are interested in making change in the community locally, nationally, and globally. We focus on making sure our voices are heard during city council meetings, stakeholders meetings, legislative session, and anywhere law makers are present. We also assist members with filing important complaints and receiving basic legal aid. Our mission is “nothing about us without us!
